Hi-Bond Tape Primer / adhesion promoter is a light yellow /transparent liquid, to improve the bonding performance of Double Sided Acrylic Foam Tape. It reacts directly with the tape through synthetic resin (not through the reaction of air moisture), which can produce high adhesion, cold resistance, moisture resistance, and high temperature resistance, especially when used with acrylic foam tape, it has excellent bonding strength.

Mainly used in all kinds of car door sound insulation sealing strips, all kinds of window doors, elevators, air conditioners, furniture sound insulation sealing strips, welcome pedals, rain gear car handles, car door bowls, car decorative strips, anti-collision rubber strips, rearview mirror covers, car rearview mirror rain eyebrow, rain shield, car rain eyebrow, rearview mirror, sunny and rainy, car film edge sealing.
Rear tank fuel tank cover, car lights (such as bonding of EPDM buffer strips on the back, bonding of EPDM strips on the outer frame of lights), and aluminum foil tape, copper foil tape, PET tape film and other laminated adhesives such as electroplated metal, epoxy board, PP and other materials.
Various coatings, inks, adhesives, primers and adhesion promoters for transfer printing on low surface materials.
- Use a fiber-free cloth dipped in 50% isopropanol, acetone or toluene to clean the bonded surface.
Operation
- Shake the bottle containing High Bond Tape Primer vigorously before use.
- Use special tools or brushes, rollers (without fiber shedding), and evenly coat the High Bond Tape Primer on the bonding surface. The general coating thickness is 2~4u.
Drying time
- The drying time generally varies depending on temperature, humidity, and coating thickness.
- Normal drying time: 1 minute ~ 15 minutes
- Optimal drying time: 2 minutes ~ 8 minutes (temperature: 23℃, humidity 65%)
- During this period, it must be noted that the coating surface is absolutely free from contamination.
Double-sided tape bonding
- Stick the double-sided tape to the surface of the coated coating that has been dried and apply a certain amount of pressure.
