Effective sealing: The seal ensures reliable sealing against pressurised liquids and gases for both mobile and static components
Flexibility: The seal adapts to a range of dimensional tolerances and compensates for minor variations in the contact surfaces.
Resistance to temperatures and chemical products: heat resistance from -35 °C to +120 °C
Space-saving, secure and easy-to-assemble seal
Resistant to all mineral oils, lubricants, petrol, hot water, steam, compressed air and diluted acids
- Automotive applications: engine systems, transmission systems and air-conditioning systems.
- Manufacturing industry: hydraulic and pneumatic machinery.
- Domestic applications: taps and plumbing equipment.
- Select the appropriate material and size: Choose an O-ring that suits the sizing specifications and the chemical and thermal requirements of your application.
- Prepare the surface: Make sure that the contact surfaces are clean, smooth and free of debris.
- Position the seal: Insert the O-ring in the groove of the fitting or around the shank where it is to be installed.
- Connect the components: Connect the components, applying slight pressure to compress the O-ring.
- Check the sealing effect: Make sure that the O-ring is correctly installed and there is no leak when the system is pressurised or functional.
